This blog is operated by the coordinator of the GRUNDTVIG-project "Social Inclusion and Dignity in Old Age-Promoting participatory approaches to use reference budgets", looking at innovative initiatives and learning methods to strengthen the ability of older people to manage on a low income and checking how to use “reference budgets”. The purpose of this blog is to facilitate a discussion around european debates in the field of social inclusion and financial education of older people.

Comments welcome on Discussion Paper on EU Road Map for Adequate Minimum Income
The European Minimum Income Network (EMIN) is a two year project (2013-2014) funded by the European Commission, that has the aim of building consensus to take the necessary steps towards the progressive realisation of adequate and accessible minimum income schemes in EU Member States, in line with the European Commission’s Active Inclusion Recommendation of 2008, the Europe 2020 strategy and in the context of the European Platform against Poverty and Social Exclusion.
EMIN is asking for comments to the Discussion Paper “EU Roadmap for the progressive realisation of adequate minimum income schemes” before the end of March.
